tamimlabs

Hello, I'm Tamim Hasan · tamimlabs

I build websites and software that actually work.

Self-taught engineer by obsession. I build custom websites, web applications, and automation for real businesses — from scratch, in the open, and owned entirely by you. No templates, no page-builders, no locked doors.

I don't do templates — on principle You talk to the person who writes the code If you don't need custom work, I'll say so

Working with me means

  • One accountable person, first call to launch
  • Tested, documented, and measured — no vibes
  • You own everything. Lock-in is the enemy

Since you're hiring a person: the working software is public — judge me before you trust me.

Unlike most developers, my working software is public — the code, the real-time demos, and the case study are all linkable from this page. Nothing here is invented: no fake clients, no made-up results, no stock testimonials.

What I build

Built to do real work for your business.

Every service below is delivered as original software — designed around your requirements, documented, and built to last. Not a plugin. Not a theme.

Custom websites

Business websites and landing pages built from scratch to turn visitors into enquiries and sales — not assembled from a template.

  • Design built around your customers
  • Works perfectly on every device
  • Structured to turn visits into enquiries

Redesign & rebuild

Your current site, rebuilt from the ground up: faster, mobile-first, easier for customers to find you on Google, and a look that matches the business you are today.

  • Modern UX & navigation
  • Faster across the board
  • Better standing in Google

Custom e-commerce

Storefronts built as real software — product catalog, checkout, payments, and order management that don't fight your customers.

  • Product & catalog system
  • Checkout + payments
  • Orders & admin you can run

Technical SEO

The behind-the-scenes work that helps the right customers find you — structure, speed, and data the search engines actually read.

  • Structure search engines read
  • Structured data (schema.org)
  • Sitemaps, metadata, speed

Performance optimization

A site that loads before your visitors give up. I target real Core Web Vitals, and you get the before-and-after numbers — not guesses.

  • Faster page loads for every visitor
  • Optimized images & assets
  • Measured Core Web Vitals

Automation & integrations

Bookings, leads, follow-ups, and notifications handled automatically — the repetitive work gets removed, not just moved around.

  • Bookings, leads & follow-ups automated
  • Connections between your tools (APIs)
  • Dashboards & internal tools

Custom web applications

Dashboards, customer portals, booking systems — an application built around how your business actually runs, not how a template thinks it does.

  • Booking & scheduling systems
  • Customer portals & dashboards
  • AI-powered applications

Not sure what your business needs?

Describe your problem in plain words — I'll tell you honestly what's worth building, and what isn't.

Describe your problem

A note on honesty: custom development isn't always the right answer. If a simple brochure site on a standard platform genuinely fits your need, I'll tell you so instead of over-engineering for the sale. Custom is the right choice when you need it to work differently, faster, or better than what a template can do.

What the rebuild fixes

  • UX & messaging: One clear message and one call to action, instead of a wall of links.
  • Responsive layout: Rebuilt for phones first — the old site was a fixed 800px table.
  • Performance: Lean code and optimized assets instead of heavy animated ads.
  • SEO structure: Semantic headings, metadata, and structured data search engines understand.
  • Conversion flow: Book-appointment and call-to-action paths built into the design.
  • Custom functionality: A booking + patient-intake system replaces the contact guestbook.

Speed quietly decides sales

Illustrative

A slow page costs you visitors and your Google ranking — a fast one keeps both. Two routes to build a website, and what each one costs your customers:

Things your visitor's phone must download before the page can appear

a handful18 files

Total weight your visitor carries before seeing anything

light~180 KB

Slider, plugin & tracker baggage that ships regardless of need

skippedonly what the page needs

A custom build ships only what your page actually needs — semantic structure first, JavaScript only where it earns its place.

Illustrative comparison of the two approaches — not a promise about any specific site. On a real project, your actual numbers get measured and shared, before and after.

This is what I build for clients. One of these design-languages is yours — tailored to your business.

Let's build yours

Business problem → custom solution

If your business runs on paperwork, phone calls, and tabs you can't find — it runs on software. Quietly.

Open a problem that sounds familiar. Every one of these is something custom software was built to fix — not by installing a plugin, but by engineering the right system.

01“My website is outdated.”

A rebuild from the ground up — modern custom-coded architecture, a design that works on today's phones, and your content migrated properly.

02“My website is slow.”

A performance-focused optimization or rebuild — lean code, optimized assets, and measurements against real Core Web Vitals instead of guesses.

03“Customers can't request quotes easily.”

A custom quote-request system — a form that captures exactly the details you need and routes straight into your inbox or CRM.

04“I need online booking.”

A booking interface built around your availability and services, wired to confirmations, reminders, and your calendar.

05“I receive repetitive customer requests.”

An automated workflow — requests get captured, answered, routed, and followed up without a person doing every step by hand.

06“I need a customer dashboard.”

A custom web application — accounts, orders, documents, or bookings, tailored to how your customers actually use it.

07“I need something no template provides.”

Custom development exists for exactly this — if no off-the-shelf tool fits your workflow, that's the workflow worth building.

The work

Real, working systems — here's what I can build for you.

Not mockups or case-study PDFs: live things you can open, plus public code you can inspect — including two full systems built for Google hackathons.

NexusMind AI

An autonomous AI agent that turns one sentence into a planned, executed, self-corrected workflow — built for the Google “All Things Agentic” hackathon.

The problem
Teams lose hours every day to repetitive attention work — triaging messages, reviews, and tasks that don't genuinely need a human.
What I built
A full web-based system: live dashboard, event-driven workflow engine, 11 platform watchers (GitHub, Slack, Jira, email…), 30 tools across 9 skill packs, human-approval gates, and persistent memory.

The problem
Producing consistent social content takes hours of manual editing and publishing on multiple channels.
What I built
An orchestrated pipeline — AI captions, automated video editing, and publishing — stitched together from Python modules and n8n.

Honesty note: Your Download Manager and Browser Download Companion are real, announced in-development projects — their release is tracked from GitHub. Every project with a "Code" or "Live" link is publicly verifiable today.

Curious how a project like this actually gets built — and what that means for yours?

See how I work

A real project, shown end to end

This is what "built from scratch" actually looks like.

Instead of describing my process, here's a completed project: an autonomous work system built solo for Google's All Things Agentic hackathon. Every claim below is public and verifiable — and this is the standard any project of yours would be held to.

The problem it solves

A business has repetitive, low-judgment work that still takes real human hours — triaging inboxes, watching channels, chasing updates. Most software helps one step at a time and stalls the moment anything fails, so a person has to babysit it.

The system I built

Given one sentence of intent, it plans the work, executes it step by step, checks its own results, corrects course, and asks a human before anything risky — all of it visible on a live dashboard while it runs. I designed, built, tested, and documented it alone, the way I'd run your project.

Built with

PythonFastAPIGoogle CloudGemini AILive dashboard

The full stack is documented in the public repo — the point here is the standard, not the acronyms.

The standard behind it — and what it means for your project

  • Planned before it acts

Given one goal, the system maps out a plan, then works through it one step at a time — reading real results before choosing the next step. No blind guessing.

  • Fails openly, then corrects

When a step goes wrong, it says so and adjusts rather than stalling — the same honest, fix-it mentality you'd want from a team you hire.

  • You can watch it work

Every step streams to a live dashboard. Nothing runs invisibly — on your own project, you'd see the progress, the decisions, and the trade-offs.

  • A human approves the risky parts

Actions that carry risk pause and ask for a person's sign-off — from a phone if needed. Safety gates, not sleepwalking.

  • It learns as it works

Finished jobs become proven, reusable procedures that get better over time — so it doesn't repeat past mistakes.

  • Costs nothing when idle

Built on cloud infrastructure that scales to zero — no wasted spend between jobs. That's how I think about your budget too.

Design, code, tests, and docs all produced by one accountable person

How a finished project is handed over

  • You own it

Clean, documented code and no platform lock-in — move hosts, extend it, or hand it to any developer later.

  • It's tested

Automated checks protect it and performance is measured — not promised.

  • No handoffs

One accountable developer from the first call to long after launch.

  • Explained in plain English

You get a walkthrough of what you own and how to use it — not a file dump.

Verify it yourself

The complete project is public: the repository, the demo video, and the hackathon entry. I won't invent revenue lift or user counts — the engineering, the tests, and the docs are the evidence, and they're all yours to check.

The kind of software your business runs on deserves this standard too.

Tell me the workflow that's eating your team's time, and we'll design the system that removes it.

Start this conversation

Why custom code wins

Built around your business — not around someone else's template.

Everything on this page was built this way: no templates, no page builders, no rented website software. That's not a style preference — it's the reason the results are dependable and the site stays yours.

An honest caveat

Sometimes a lean template, WordPress, or even no website is genuinely the right call — a small static page on a one-pager subscription can be perfect. When that's true for you, I'll say so. What I won't do is sell you complexity you don't need.

No template tax

A template drags along a framework, sliders, and plugins for features you'll never open. Custom code ships only what your site actually needs.

SEO built into the structure

Semantic HTML, schema.org markup, metadata, sitemaps, robots rules, and fast first loads aren't bolted on afterward — they're the foundation.

Measured, not marketed

Speed and ranking claims get verified: Core Web Vitals run against the actual build, before and after — and the numbers are shared honestly.

Design is the system, not a skin

The design system is tied to your business — content, calls to action, and customer flows — instead of reskinned around a template's assumptions.

You own it, no lock-in

Clean, documented code you can move to any host, extend, or hand to any other developer. You're not renting a brew that's been brewed weird.

Room to grow into software

Automation, booking, dashboards, integrations — when your first custom build is done, adding systems is one more layer, not a migration.

A website built this way is a business asset — not a subscription you hope keeps working.

About

I build the software, then I show you the evidence — you can judge me before you trust me.

I'm Tamim Hasan. My second brain has always been engineering. I taught myself to code, then taught myself to build like a professional: quiet Sunday mornings in the library writing a 50-level JavaScript game, weekends plumbing event streams through Cloud Run for a hackathon build, and long nights turning a download-manager idea into Rust that actually feels fast.

I think in systems and trade-offs. Measure first, change second. If I wouldn't trust the number, I don't print it on a website.

I work directly with owners — no account managers, no ticket queues. You get the person who wrote the code.

In a word, the people I've worked with would probably describe me as blunt — in the sense that you always know where you stand. Ask for an opinion and you'll get one.

How a project goes

01

Listen & map

Tell me the real workflow — who does what, what's painful, what a win looks like. I ask a lot of questions before a single design decision.

02

Design & build

Design, architecture, and code together — you see working pages early and often, not one big reveal.

03

Test & measure

Real device testing, accessibility, Core Web Vitals measured and shared.

04

Hand over

Deployed, documented, and yours — with a plain-English walkthrough of what you own.

Under the hood

You're hiring judgment, not tools — but here's the toolbox anyway.

You don't need to care about any of this — that's my job. It's listed because, unusually, everything here was actually used in the projects on this page, all of them openly verifiable.
