Common questions
- Is my JSON uploaded anywhere?
- No. Your JSON is parsed and re-serialised entirely inside your browser's memory using your own device's processing. Nothing you paste is ever sent to a server, and closing the tab discards it.
- How do I fix JSON that has comments or trailing commas?
- Open the tool, switch on Repair mode, and it converts comments, trailing commas and single-quoted strings into strict JSON. It also reports the exact line and column of any syntax error so you can jump straight to it.
- Can I convert JSON to another format?
- Yes. Besides formatting and validating, the tool converts JSON to YAML, CSV, XML and TypeScript interfaces, so you can move a payload into the format your next task needs.
